Connect your tools
Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar are connected through your Google sign-in. More providers are coming soon.
Browser
- Sarmis for Gmail — Chrome extension
- Unzip sarmis-gmail.zip and keep the folder somewhere permanent — deleting it uninstalls the extension.
- Open chrome://extensions — Chrome blocks links to it, so copy the text and paste it in the address bar.
- Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle).
- Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
- Come back here and hit Verify installation.
Works on Chrome, Edge and Brave (version 116+) — not Firefox or Safari. Chrome may ask “Disable developer mode extensions?” after a restart — click Keep.

Activate Apps Script
Flip one switch and you’re set.
- Tap Turn it on — a Google window opens.
- Switch Google Apps Script API to On.
- Come back here — we do the rest.
Signed into more than one Google account?
This switch is per-account, and the popup opens with your browser’s default one — it must be flipped on your Sarmis account:
- Open a private / incognito window.
- Sign in only as your Sarmis account.
- Paste the link and switch the API On.
Then come back here and hit Retry.
Sarmis is live
It's now watching your inbox and calendar. You'll see your first briefing shortly.
Almost there — one approval
Your agent is installed in your Drive. Google needs your one-time OK before it can act on your account. It takes ~20 seconds.
- Click Activate Sarmis below — a Google approval window pops up over this page.
- Google shows the access Sarmis needs → choose your account → Allow.
- When you see “Sarmis is activated”, close that window — this page continues on its own.
Signed into more than one Google account?
The popup opens with your browser’s default account, which may not be your Sarmis account. If it does, approve it there instead:
- Open a private / incognito window.
- Sign in only as your Sarmis account.
- Paste the link there and approve.
Leave this page open — it continues on its own once you approve.
Choose a password
You’ll use it to open your dashboard.
